September 14, 2009Day of Caring – Sept. 11, 2009
EagleView Employee’s give back to their community by volunteering at this year’s Day of Caring Event at the King County Red Cross.
Volunteers from EagleView Sales, Operations, Customer Service and Marketing Departments volunteered to paint rooms, wash mobile response vehicles, assemble volunteer kits, and organize and clean at the Seattle Red Cross on Friday.
Organizer Emilee Melton says “EagleView’s first good works event was an exciting day which brings visions of many more events to come in the future. Thank you to everyone that was part of this event”.
Team lead Todd Long says “EagleView’s involvement with the American Red Cross during the Day of Caring was an amazing success. We had a great turn out and all the volunteers worked very hard to help out the King County chapter of the Red Cross. More EagleView employees have expressed interest in volunteering for future events with the United Way and the American Red Cross. A big thank you to all who volunteered and those who continue to show interest in helping the community. A special thank you to the team at the American Red Cross (Ivy, Britt, James, and Amanda) who assisted in making this a memorable experience for EagleView Technologies.”
The American Red Cross saves lives. In emergencies large and small – a house fire, an earthquake, a flood – right here in our own community or on distant shores, people can count on the Red Cross. When disaster strikes, they respond with food, shelter and hope. For more about the Red Cross and how you can volunteer.
