After 41 years of service, the USS Constellation (CV-64) approaches its final destination, to be scrapped at International Shipbreaking Ltd. in Brownsville, Texas.

The Constellation, an aircraft carrier, served throughout the Cold War and beyond. Her voyage from Bremerton, Washington to Brownsville, Texas took five months because aircraft carriers are too large to traverse the Panama Canal. (Image coordinates: 25.976461, -97.329531)
