Larimer County, Colorado leveraged Pictometry technology to aid in emergency response and damage assessment following an 80,000 acre wildfire and an historic flooding event. Much of the county is comprised of rural property with limited access which made assessing damage a challenge. In some cases the homes were burned to the ground or literally swept off their foundations.
