Pictometry has for many years captured high-resolution, aerial imagery of cities and counties for use in their emergency response departments, delivering powerful intelligence to firefighters, EMTs and police officers.  But did you know that imagery can also save cities and heal residents?

That’s why Pictometry chose to support the WALL\THERAPY Program in its home city of Rochester, New York.  This program features a week-long festival where artists rehabilitate walls in the city to heal it with new life and energy.  The organization’s sister initiative, IMPACT! (IMProving Access to Care by Teleradiology), does its healing by setting up diagnostic imaging sites in developing countries.

The connecting factor between the art and the medical initiative is imaging. Street murals enhance life. Medical X-ray imagery preserves it.  Learn more and consider supporting this fine example of the power of imagery on their INDIEGOGO fundraising page
